System Capacity and Maximum Load
Most of the users get confuse when we tell them about what solar panel system they need. So, it is very necessary to educate them about the load management and load capacity of their desired system. We have to tell them the number of electrical appliances they can run on their particular solar panel system so they can get better idea of what appliances they are gonna use.
The load and system capacity table will help the user to get exact estimation of how much load of lights, fans , air coolers, air conditioners (AC), water pump, washing machine, oven, refrigerator their system can afford. You can see the given table to check your system’s load management capabilities.
System Power | System Load Capacity |
---|---|
1 KW Solar Setup | 4 to 5 Fans, 4 to 5 Lights |
2KW Solar Setup | LED Lights, Fans, Heating Iron, Washing Machine |
3KW Solar Setup | Pump, 1.5 AC, Fans, Lights, Fridge, Washing machine |
4KW Solar Setup | 1.5 ton AC, 1 pump, 6 Fans, 10 Lights, Washing machine, Heating iron |
5 KW Solar Setup | 1 TV, 1.5 ton AC, Fridge, 5 Fans, 20 Lights, 1 Washing Machine |
6KW Solar Setup | 2 (1.5 ton) AC, 10 Fans, 10 Lights |
8KW Solar Panel Setup | Heating Iron, Fans, Lights ,Fridge, Oven ,Washing machine , Water pump, 1.5 ton AC |

What Are The Requirements For Setup?
If you are ready to purchase solar panels for your property but don’t know much about the solar price and setup read the each setup below to get the best idea about it
1: Which Solar Panel To Use?
We use solar panels to make electricity from sunlight. It’s good for the environment because we don’t need to burn things like coal or gas, which can be bad for nature. Before purchasing you should know what type of solar panel you are looking for because there are many companies selling their solar panels and there are only 5 types of solar panel that you can purchase for your property. Which are Monocrystalline, Polycrystalline, Thin-films, PERC and Bifacial solar panels.
Here are 5 key factors to consider before buying a solar panel system:
- Efficiency and Quality
- System Size and Power Output
- Cost and Financing
- Roof Suitability and Shading
- Solar Installer Reputation
2: Inverter
When you install a solar panel you cannot directly use its generative current you will need an inverter which can be very useful for it. Because it can change the DC (direct current) from solar panels that cannot be used in your house or building and converts to AC (alternating current) which you can use for your homes or buildings. Usually the electricity from solar panels starts at a lower voltage. But we need it to be the same as the electricity from our outlets. The inverter helps change it to the right voltage, like what we use in our homes. That could be either 120 volts or 240 volts, depending on where you live.
Make sure to use modern inverter because that can offer few safety features which might not be available in old inverters like overload protection and automatic power off in case of emergency. Check the inverter input voltage range because it should match the DC (direct current) coming from solar panels.
You need a proper functioning power system and for that there are few important items that are necessary.
Solar Wires: These cables are use to take DC and AC currents within the system.
Solar Attachments: These attachments are use to the connect electricity between the inverter, solar panels and other items.
Solar Combiner Boxes: These boxes arranges and gather the output from different panels before it reaches inverter.
3: Solar Mounting
Now if you know which type of panel you are going to purchase with other important items for your property you may need to install them at a particular location on your property and that is where solar mounting comes in. Make sure your plates are positioned properly to capture as much sunlight as possible and generate electricity efficiently. Mounting system will hold your solar panels in a way that they are not affected by weather conditions.
There are 5 types of mounting system.
Tile Roof: This mount is mostly used by homes and building with tile tile roofs. which looks beautiful and durabale.
Roof Mount: This is the most common mount system on which installing the solar panels on roof which can be flat or angled slightly is used.
Ground Mount: You have a open land and want to fix your panels there? No problem ground mount is the method you need.
Metal Roof: Another common type of mount system that is used to fix your solar panels on metal rooftop.
Solar trackers: All other method will fix your solar panels to one place but solar trackers can fix and rotates the panels following sun this can increase energy production upto 40%.
4: Battery
Batteries are the most essential component of a solar panel system. During the day time the it produces energy that is need to be stored in a battery for later use or you can use it for emergency purposes. They are not important for the panels to work but it can be used as backup for example when the sun is not shinning on a cloudy day the panels will not produce energy and if you don’t have a battery you won’t be able to use the energy later. Having more capacity in battery can store more energy in it.
There four types of batteries used for solar panel.
- Lead Acid Battery
- Lithium Battery
- Nickel Cadmium Battery
- Flow Battery
